For this week being a bit clustered and all, it would only be fitting if I at least attempted to compile the recent madness into a coherent blogpost. With that said, I'm proud to say that I have been accepted into my school's new leadership council. Now, I'm not sure what exactly this group will entail in the near future, but I can wholeheartedly say that it will bring about some much needed (and hopefully positive) changes to my school. So far, I and a select group of my classmates have begun to have weekly meetings and training groups to better brainstorm and prioritize issues that should be addressed and given attention to. These topics range anywhere from student attendance regulation, equally balancing acknowledgment to all school activities, flipped learning, and student/teacher interactions. Although making drastic changes from the very beginning is nearly impossible, we have only just begun to take our first steps into a new direction, and I am looking forward to where these new advances will take us.

— Initially, this page was where I documented my daily prompts for a writing class in high school, but I'll continue to post my thoughts here every once in a while. I might also post some dissertations / research I've done here in college. categories:archives:
